About

Class blog for GRA 217, Section 1, Group #3: Rasterizers

The paths you will walk in your journey to solve visual problems are roads that graphic designers face on a daily basis. In an effort to involve yourself in this world and to begin to develop a deeper understanding of the material covered in class and your textbook you will all be engaging in discussions through use of a class blog. During each week you will post once to this blog. To foster and encourage discussion you will also be commenting on one of your colleagues posts each week. The instructional assistant (Veronica) will be grading your posts based on your adherence to deadlines and the quality of the contents you post. Each weeks post and comments is worth 15 points (post=10, comments=5).

Extra credit: The blogging challenge

Each week’s post will be graded and the blog-group with the highest average grade will win that week and they will receive two points, second, one point and third, no points. The blog-group with the most points at the end of the semester will receive an extra credit of 2/3 of a letter grade to their final blog grade
(ie. B- to a B+).

The blog-group with the lowest average grade for that week will get one strike against the person in that group with the lowest grade for that week’s post. If an individual gets three strikes during the semester, they will be voted out of their blog-group and not be eligible for the extra credit. They will still need to continue to do the blogs for their blog grade which is 15% of your final grade.
